About the owners

Hello everyone!

We just wanted to introduce ourselves.

Our names are Kane and Ashleigh, we are very excited to offer your dogs the best natural treats!

Kane grew up in Inveraray. Throughout his life he has worked in a few different retail roles and has a gorgeous dog called Kasey who enjoys being spoilt with treats. Kane enjoys woodwork and is hopefully going to be crafting some exciting products that are animal themed and may come in handy in your house!

Ashleigh grew up in a village called Keelby which is located in Lincolnshire. She worked as a sea lion and bird trainer for 9 years, at Pleasure Island, in Cleethorpes, and Blackpool Zoo, from work experience and volunteering, to a full time job she found her passion and studied Level 3 Animal Management at Bishop Burton College. 

She then studied a year of Animal Training and Behaviour but chose to progress in her career so her uni journey ended there.

Ashleigh then ran her own Dog Walking and Pet Care business called Happy Hound and Horse for around 3 years in Keelby and surrounding villages in Lincolnshire. 

She also has a beautiful dog named Harley who stays at her mums down in England with his cheeky brother Casper. These are both rescue dogs and they also enjoy being spoilt a lot!

We live in the beautiful town of Inveraray on the west coast of Scotland and this is where The Highland Dog Deli is based.

We set up The Highland Dog Deli in June 2023 selling natural treats for your furry friends. The Highland Dog Deli is our pop up stall and you will find us at different farmers markets and agricultural shows throughout the summer! We have recently opened up a shop in Inveraray down the Main Street, called Fyne Four Paws.
